Game Descriptionthis game is in strategy simular to monopoly, move around the board, obtain property(state cards) collect chips (amount per state) and spend money (1 million dollars). The difference is the board is not pre assigned in direction. there are many paths you can chose. Rules for movement are very simple. Everything is color coded and the actual board is a map of the United states. Each state is represented in actual size and displays the number of electoral vote on it. Strategy is in the direction you chose for maximum vote capture. You pay when you land on other states owned by others(although money doesent win you the game, its needed to survive)there are also various chance type cards (simular to monopoly). The concept sounds adult like, but I believe with the colors, and movement, kids too will enjoy. It will also teach states, Basic math, directions north south ect. and for those interested, political value of each. The game is modled after monoploy, except its not based on luck, instead on your path of capture. the directions are very simple, I printed them on one page. I believe this will in a way trick kids into learning, the wont never even realize it!Runnin for president is copyright protected © 2003 Patrick Thayer |
