Game Description"WordsWorth" is a board game that allows players to move around the board by constructing sentences based on arranged word tiles. Word tiles are drawn by spinning for a number. That number of word tiles are then drawn. The player then has two minutes to construct a sentence, using as many of the word tiles as they can. The word tiles include many funny and crazy nouns and verbs, which means most of the sentences turn out to be pretty funny. However, they still need to follow proper sentence construction. For example, an acceptable sentence would be "The stupid flying monkeys ate my pickle." An unacceptable sentence would be "The stupid monkeys ate pickle." Judging is informal and based on the opinion of the other players. Included in the word tiles are wild-cards, which may be used for any word. The board places also allow for "Word Trades", which allow the player to turn in all their tiles for a new set, "Morph", which allows the player to trade places with any other player, and "All Play", which allows all players to participate at once. This is a game that should appeal to younger players, but it is also a game that adults can play as well. It would even be possible to make an "adult" version, which would contain more suggestive words. However the main appeal of the game is to allow people of all ages to play and enjoy the game together."WordsWorth" is copyright protected © 2003 Mark Potter |
