I was so thrilled with water that, at 2-years-old, sitting in buckets kept me wonderfully amused. I still enjoy water, but now
I swim laps in it, splash with my daughter in it and am building a
sailboat I hope will float in it.

After receiving the usual public school indoctrination, I went on to college to study bugs and plants, then further to study what happens when
communication goes wrong. (This is about the point in a bio where artists insert a bit about how they drew and painted relentlessly all during
their formative years, but I would rather mention the profound influence that growing up in a milieu of
famous artists
had on me. I had a wee bit
of formal art training, but also relied on any inherited talent I may have garnered from my prodigious relations.)

Having strong Buddhist inclinations, however, I regard the present, rather than past or future, as the most important moment, and so I devote
the longest paragraph to current events. I am happily married to a fascinating man who is the code
genius behind my website…and much, much more! We live on a 28 acre organic farm which would be the acme of bucolic bliss if it weren't for
our proximity to the underground Pentagon. And no, we do not let Jewely, our charming 500 pound pet pig, live in the house with us. I often
work in a snug, wood-heated studio, which also is not accessible to the pig. We suffer from the affliction of having an excess of interests
including homeschooling our daughter, living a vegan lifestyle, playing with fire, debating the veracity of Einstein's theories, growing vegetables,
homebrewing various beverages, renovating an 1860's farm house that unfortunately does not have a ghost, marveling at the insight of the writers of
Kim Possible, creating films that will change the world, and endeavoring to defy the laws of thermodynamics by inventing the elusive perpetual
motion machine. And yet, I still find enough time to draw and paint relentlessly.
